“Riding is a partnership. The horse lends you his strength, speed and grace, which are greater then yours. For your part, you give him guidance, intelligence and understanding, which are greater then his. Together you can achieve a richness that neither can alone.”
Lucy Rees
Horsemanship is about much more than just learning to ride. It’s about developing and maintaining happy, healthy, and sound horses. At PPH, we are committed to teaching riders to become true horsemen — both in and out of the saddle. We educate riders on a range of topics that are essential to proper horse care.
From feeding to saddle fitting, from first aid to hoof care; the PPH lesson program will teach you how to better care for your equine partners. Whether you own your own horse or hope to one day, and regardless of your riding ability, you will benefit from the wealth of knowledge available through the program.
Riding lessons . . . are the foundation of our educational programs at PPH. We offer classes in beginner english, hunt seat/jumping, and western disciplines. Lessons are offered in the following formats for both children and adults:
*Semi-privates, max 3 students-- (60 minutes). $50 per person
*Privates -- one student (60 minutes). $75*Semi-privates, max 3 students-- (60 minutes). $50 per person
