Kognac is out of 2002 Trakehner mare Kalua, who holds the American Trakehner Association Filly Horse of the Year and USDF All Breeds Champion Trakehner Filly titles as both a 2 and 3 yr old filly in 2004 and 2005. Kognac is by Trueheart "Truman", a homozygous ATA Registered 2009 colt who comes from 4 full generations of proven Trakehner bloodlines in sport (dressage and jumping).
